Shannon Goebel Paul

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Shannon has been actively involved in the healthcare industry since her undergraduate work at Loyola University of Chicago. She started volunteering in the Outpatient Child and Adolescent waiting room at Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s). This experience fostered her passion for the discipline of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and since then she has had many roles in Behavioral Health. Shannon was involved in direct patient care in Children’s Therapeutic Summer Camp, Partial Hospital Program, the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and the Intake Department. She transitioned away from direct patient care into administrative roles and has served as leader in health care for several years.

Shannon has dedicated most of her career to the field of Behavioral Health and enjoys partnering with clinicians to create stellar programs for children and adolescents. She is excited to lead the Plena team in her role as the CEO, as this role provides her an opportunity to engage all components of health care delivery, from designing the care goals and objectives to ensuring the team delivers an unmatched customer experience.
