Caring & Supporting Day Treatment Programs

Our approach combines evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, SPACE, MI, ACT, ICBT, CAMS, MBT, and ERP with integrative strategies that support whole-person well-being.

A Fully Therapeutic and Supportive Milieu

At Plena, every element of our program reflects a compassionate and intentional approach to care. Guided by a highly trained multidisciplinary team — including psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, therapists, and milieu staff — our integrated approach ensures continuous support and expert guidance. Even our milieu environment is thoughtfully curated to meet the unique needs of each participant, with strategies discussed alongside our consulting psychologist to ensure the use of effective, evidence-based interventions. This approach allows children and adolescents to practice therapeutic tools in real time with expert coaching, combining knowledge and practical application. By doing so, we facilitate the transfer of training, ensuring that the skills learned in our program lead to meaningful, longer-lasting results.

From structured activities and group sessions to personalized individual care, children and adolescents thrive in an environment where they feel safe, valued, and understood. Expressive therapy, yoga therapy, pet therapy, mindfulness, and recreational therapies are integral parts of our programming, further enriching the therapeutic experience. Every moment in our program is intentionally therapeutic, setting us apart by fostering meaningful growth and empowerment.
