Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs

Plena Mind Center

Exclusively Focusing on Child and Adolescent Mental Health

WHAT WE DO

A Whole Child Approach

Our approach empowers children and adolescents, ages 6 - 18, to actively participate in managing symptoms in the service of living their fullest life.

Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program

(PHP)

Our PHP is a full day program serving children, tweens, and teens who require more intensive services for mental health needs.

Medication Assessment

& Management

While not every child will require medication to assist in the management of their symptoms, in some cases medication may be a part of your child’s optimal treatment plan.

Child and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP is an after school program serving children and adolescents who don't require full day programing.

Plena Parent Academy

This is a multifamily group facilitated by our licensed clinicians. This resource is available to our families during and after treatment.

At Plena Mind Center, we are devoted to delivering premier pediatric care, combining evidence-based treatment approaches customized to each patient and family in a warm and welcoming environment. At Plena, we are uniquely small by design so we can provide highly personalized care and an unmatched patient experience.

What To Expect

Creating A Custom Treatment Plan Catering To Your Childs’ Needs

At Plena we offer a renewed approach by treating children with a highly personalized plan that centers around the patient and family. We take into account your child’s internal and external worlds. Our whole child approach ensures each participant receives an initial assessment from a licensed clinician and a thorough evaluation from our board certified child & adolescent psychiatrists. Our program includes group and individual therapy sessions. Your child's unique treatment will be adapted based on their progress.

A Message From Our Leaders

At Plena we believe that keeping our children safe and healthy is the job of the whole community. We provide resources to our community in all (acute) areas of mental health so children and their families have good, holistic and evidence-based treatment available to them.

Along side our leaders, Plena’s team includes board-certified child and adolescent board-certified psychiatrists, licensed clinical professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers, a licensed teacher, an expressive therapist (board-certified music therapist), and multiple patient support specialists.

“We are so grateful & thankful to the Plena team. Such wonderful, very accommodating & caring group of people. We don’t want to leave. We enjoyed the parent sessions, family meetings & the weekly goals! She truly loved the Expressive Therapy & group time. Thanks so much for everything!”

“I could not be more impressed with the care [my child] received at Plena. Jamie worked so well with us and his therapist. She listened to my concerns and developed tools that would work with our whole family. She is a pleasure to work with. [My child] is being discharged with tools he needs to manage his emotions. He is happy again and our whole family feels more connected. Our experience has been amazing at Plena and we are very grateful!”

“We never felt like a number. The staff was able to uncover [my child] and help her handle her worry. It’s not “over” but I trust the tools & knowledge they gave her. We will keep working it and move [her] forward!”
