Greg joined Plena at the start of 2024 after a successful career shift into the behavioral health industry in early 2018. Prior to his career shift, Greg primarily worked in the Culture-Building & Employee Recognition space, where he developed a passion for developing workplace cultures that promoted employee and client wellbeing. In 2018, Greg shifted his career to the mental health field and joined Fusion Academy as their Director of Outreach. For three years, he established and deepened connections in the community to provide resources for middle school and high school age students who struggled in the traditional classroom setting. It was during his time at Fusion that he met the team at Plena for the first time and was instantly drawn to the program as a trusted source for treatment in the area. Following his time at Fusion, Greg joined the initial leadership team at Skyway Behavioral Health as the Director of Business Development and was tasked with helping launch the organization as a new PHP/IOP in the Chicagoland area. The role provided him the opportunity to expand his reach within the mental health community–collaborating with therapists, psychiatrists, placement coordinators, and other professionals in order to get their patients the treatment they needed.

Now at Plena, Greg is able to utilize his existing relationships as well as new connections in the community to make sure every child and adolescent in need of services receives the care they deserve. He also works to collaborate with local schools, non-profits, and community groups to provide training and educational opportunities for staff members. In addition to his presence in the community, Greg also takes pride in the work he does within Plena to establish a top-notch clinical team and environment where both patients and employees can thrive.
