Parents and guardians of program participants are encouraged to attend our virtual multifamily group facilitated by our licensed clinicians.
Discussion topics focus on evidence-based strategies intended to enhance a parent’s ability to effectively set healthy boundaries, empathize and provide emotional support to their children.
Parents are empowered through hearing other families’ struggles and are also encouraged by each other’s unique stories and solutions. We believe that parents deserve to feel heard and understand that they are not alone in this journey.
At Plena Mind Center, our IOP includes in-person multifamily group therapy, a cornerstone of our holistic approach to care. This group fosters open communication and connection, providing families with tools to better understand and support their loved ones. Guided by experienced clinicians, these sessions help families work together to navigate challenges, build resilience, and strengthen relationships in a safe, collaborative environment.
When your child is struggling, the entire family is impacted. Often, in order to sustain meaningful progress with your child, each member of the family needs to be engaged and working together to create positive changes as a family. By participating in individual family therapy with a licensed clinician, we can help enhance your family system so everyone is working in concert instead of conflict. Through family support, our goal is to help you find ways to enhance the quality of life for every member in your family.
Speak with one of our mental health specialists to determine which form of treatment program is ideal for your child or adolescent. They will take into account all of your symptoms and the history of therapy in your family, as well as set objectives and provide suggestions for the most appropriate next steps in your case.
