Lindsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree from Boston College. Lindsey has worked with diverse populations including working with emerging adults struggling with substance abuse concerns, and kids/adolescents diagnosed with learning, developmental, and mood disorders in a school setting. Lindsey has also done presentations for other professionals on body image and body positivity, as well as presented at an Alzheimer’s Association conference on her 6+ years of performing art therapy with elders diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases.
Lindsey is devoted to creating a warm and accepting space to help kids and teens realize, and feel confident in, their authentic selves. She prefers to meet clients where they are at to work alongside them in their mental health journey. She uses evidence-based modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.
In and out of work, she believes in the power of laughter, kindness, and not taking yourself too seriously. She is a sucker for dark chocolate, golden retrievers, and loves going on long car rides to adventurous destinations, even if that just means a trip to Target! Lindsey is looking forward to learning more about your child and working as a team to support them at Plena and beyond.
